Our interview is scheduled for January 9th in Montreal, and from what I've read on here, things with handles are not allowed. We put all of our things into a binder with sheet protectors-good luck to you

I had everything put together in an accordion file folder (without handle) and because it was so big I decided to put in in my very slim computer case (without the computer obviously) They told me I couldn't enter the building with the computer case. I had to run back to the car and take in only the folder.

Removal of Conditions

[03-24-2014] ROC paperwork sent.

[03-25-2014] NOA1.

[04-21-2014] Biometrics

[06-17-2014] Card in production

[06-25-2014] Card in HAND

They don't allow laptop cases or backpacks. If it's just an accordion file folder with a handle, then it should be okay.

We had two letter-sized (as opposed to legal) accordian files, we brought a lot of stuff, and they were heavy. We squeezed them both into a grocery store recycleable shopping bag with handles and they put that whole thing through the xray. They just asked us if it was documents and we said yes.
