I filed my AOS on december 13th 2011,delivered to USCIS on december 15th 2011, received email notification on december 29th 2011,check cashed on december 30th 2011,NOAs received january 4th 2012(at my previous address).i was thinking i would have received my biometrics appt already,i thought it comes right after NOAs????.Anyway, i recently moved & tried to complete the change of address online.I think i completed it because it took me to the second step. I also called USCIS to have it changed.do i still need to send AR11 in the mail?I hope this is not slowing down my process.I appreciate your insights.

How quickly biometrics comes depends on how backed up your local field office is. It can come right after the NOAs or it can come 2 months later.

According to the USCIS website you should NOT file a hard copy AR-11 if you filed online. Did you get to the signature page and did you get an option to print?

Also, if they have not already, make sure your sponsor sends in an I-865 (this cannot be done online).
