Call Center @ USEM doesn't know our case status.

Our I-129F package left NVC on the 14th of December 2010. My fiance and I called the US embassy in manila to inquire about our case and if they received it from the NVC, its been almost a month now since our package left NVC and the call centers in USEM dont have an idea about our case. Is this normal? Is there any other ways on how we will know if our case has been already arrived in Manila? Please help.

Track it via DHL...Go to dhl.com (united states) then track (reference) then put EXP 13 DEC 2011A.. click submit.A list of countries where documents are being sent will appear ;)Hope this helps

Instead of talking to the script-readers at the call center, you could do as sunandmoon recommended...call the Immigrant Unit at the Embassy.

Or, you could pay your visa fee and try to schedule online. When your case arrives at the Embassy and is entered into their system, the online appointment system will allow you to schedule an interview. That might be easier than trying to get through to the Embassy by phone.

In the meantime, you could complete the medical at St. Lukes and complete the CFO seminar.

back in 2006, calling that number is how I found out the petition arrived at the Embassy. it tends to be busy. my best luck getting through was about 8am Manila tome.

hi Love83.. i have the same experience, everytime i called their call center they have no idea on our case. what i did was i paid the visa fee then try to do the online appointment for the interview.. if it is not successful then ur case is not in their system yet. but if it is,then congratulation and goodluck with your interview..

oh, just remember the receipt # is your passport #, alot of people is confused on this.. GOodluck again and Godbless.!

Thanks plus0212 and for the additional info about the receipt number . I got your message on YM, thanks, We'll be scheduling the interview by nextweek. I am going on the 24th for my medical exam a week after sinulog I have another question what did you put on the deposit slip when paying for the visa fee. Do banks have form slip for the fiancee visa fee?

Thanks a lot plus0212. I will keep u updated promise. We are also too excited because after almost a year of being so far away from each other, finally for my interview my fiance will be here which is next month. I cannot wait to see my honeybee .
