Have I lost my I-94?

Hey guys,

So, just collating forms and filling everything in currently, and I've got to the step of my I-94. I've just had a quick look in all the usual places and this is nowhere to be found. I managed to find one from last year on one of my previous trips, but that was it. Usually I would keep bits like this in my passport, however its not there. With all the times I have been back and forth to the States visiting over the years, I've always just filled out what they give me on the plane, hand it in, and forget about it. I have never needed my I-94 for anything in the past 4 years. Due to this, it is possible that I got careless, and have lost it. However, looking at my old ones, for some reason, I'm not sure if I even remember filling one in. I remember filling in a blue Customs Sheet, but Im not sure if I remember filling out anything else.

Is there a chance that I wasn't given one?

If no, and I have lost it, what do I do, with regards to filling in my I-485 and with the copy they ask for with the checklist?

If it helps, I flew from London to LAX on October 20th 2011 this trip.

How did you come to the US? VWP?

Entering on VWP doesn't require an i94, maybe that's why you can't find it?

EDIT: from a previous post it says you entered on VWP like you have done the past few years.

Hey, yes, I forgot to mention, yes I entered on VWP.

So its more than possible I didn't receive a form to fill in this time around?

I know I have one from december 2010 as I still have it here, and I travelled on the VWP too then.

If I don't have one, I'm assuming on all the forms, I can just enter N/A and there not be a problem? As well as not including a copy of it in my I-485 too?

where an I-94 # or dates are asked for, enter 'entry via VWP on <<date>> '

Somewhere in yer passport, you've an ENTRY stamp, stating WHEN you came into USA. Search for the last one - that's the one to use on yer current pile o forms.

The VWP has gone digital now, so you're good to go. It would be more strange if you DID have a I-94. You can use your passport stamp as suggested above.
