Filed: IR-2 Timeline

Me and my dad just had our interview last december 28, The Consul didn't tell us if our visas were denied or approved. But he said that our documents are all good and he just needs some additional documents, After the interview, they gave us a white 221g form for CENOMAR re-verification. They kept our passports with them. I really do not know why they asked for me and my dad's CENOMAR, but I remember the filipino pre-screener kept asking me if I am already married, (btw, I just turned 20) and if my dad was married to someone else before he met my mom. My mom and my dad has a 10-year age gap. But they're married for like 28 years. So I really don't know why they asked for our CENOMAR. On the same day, we went to NSO pasay and requested the needed documents. We were told that the USEM will be the one to pick up the documents from them.

Category: IR1 / IR2

UPDATE:

We just called USEM yesterday, They already got my dad's CENOMAR, but mine wasn't there yet. I was told to call them again next tuesday afternoon. We are still waiting. . .

My questions are:

* How long should we wait to get our visas approved?

* Is there a chance that our visas get denied?

I appreciate your answers, thank you so much. :)
