Hi all

I’m student in OPT and I’m filing for adjustment of states I have my OPT Card that still valid,

I’m almost done with my papers I have I-864 to fill and I had my employer to sponsor me with sufficient income , but one of my friends said I need to file 2 forms of I-864 one from my employer and one from my wife even she does not work anyone has information about this

Your wife is your primary sponsor even if she does not qualify. She will need to fill out I-864 and submit the required evidence. Your co-sponsor will do the same. Your friend is correct.

Addition: You can explain about your wife's income is zero due to no job on the cover letter, they will focus primarily on your employer affidavit.
