If everything goes according to plan my fiancee and I will be getting parried in the US in June on a K-1 Visa. I would really love it if his parents could come to the wedding. They don't have tourist visas.

What is the first step to attempting to get them tourists visas? Thank!

http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1262.html, You can supply and invitation letter to them, stating you will support them during their stay etc. They will have to show strong ties in ther country, money, home, work, family in Mexico etc. US does not want them to stay on this visa. You can include the A number and marriage stuff.

The first step is going to the US Embassy in Mexico's website and filling out a DS-160. They will then follow the instructions per the Embassy. Each country has different ways of paying, scheduling interviews, etc.

Strong ties to Mexico, and sufficient resources are needed to get a tourist visa. They will not even consider an invitation letter, or an affidavit of support, so don't bother. I know several folks that regularly get tourist visas from Mexico, although there are usually denied initially. Once they show them what funds they have to spend in the USA, they are quickly approved, and welcomed with open arms.

Individual applicants must qualify for the visa based on their own qualifications. Unless a citizen or resident of the United States is supporting a petition-based work visa application, or an immigrant visa petition, we recommend that you do not try and assist.
