Hi! We are finally starting my AOS process and I have a question about expediting my process.

Husband is in Korea (technically considered deployment)and we hired a lawyer. The question is: My husband is the one who has to request the process to be expedited or the lawyer can do it? Thank you!

You can use the military assistance for this and USCIS, don't think you need an attorney to expedite. Both of them have a special section to help you.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

USCIS has established a toll-free military help line, 1-877-CIS-4MIL (1-877-247-4645), exclusively for members of the military and their families. USCIS customer service specialists are available to answer calls Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (CST), excluding federal holidays. Here is the number, good luck.

The military person is the one to request the expedite. You will need to provide deployment papers and proof that the USCIS requests.
