You will need to update the relevant forms next time you need to send in documents; obviously, the child won't need a visa, but he will affects the I-864, as there is one more in the household now.

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

since your case is completed & priority date is so close i would not send anything to the NVC that would cause them to re-open the case file. I would update the immigration office at the time of the interview with the new information And all related supporting documents.

When you go to your interview let them know you have a child who was born in the US and is a US citizen. This will not affect your case in any way EXCEPT for the sponsorship which will add one (the baby) to the household size. Congrats on the new addition and may you soon be united with him/her.

Did your child born in US or Egypt?

If you child was born in US, there is no paper work you need to add. It does not impact your application other than changing your family size and something showing your marriage is legit.

In short your kid’s citizenship does not impact your application at all.

I am little confused by Penguin's comment of kid not requiring Visa... if he was born in US he is USC and would not require visa.

If he was born in Egypt then yes he would need a visa coz your wife is not USC and your kid is holds Egyptian citizenship.
