A mog (or moggy) is a cat --- and a growler is a pork pie

You don't see fat homeless people because starving homeless people eat them - they taste like pork (they say)

I don't know what cats taste like - never will. I suppose that if they were curried, then the real taste would be disguised. I once killed one of our rabbits and fed it to the kids and told em it was chicken

I confessed some years later - praps that's why they don't email or txt me.

Unless you shoot them with a 3 inch magnum 12 bore (12 gauge) with full choke at 5 yards

I did that once. Just once.

I used to use ferrets to bolt them and then nets to catch them and then a swift karate chop to kill em

I sold them to the mobile butcher for 2 shillings and 3 pence

Now I have a house full of guns and deer on my front lawn, but I couldn't shoot anything anymore

I will live on Washington State survivalists if there is a nuclear war - I will lure them out of their camo tents with my staked out cats and then nab em

Maybe you should change your name from Cocoa Puffs to Kitten Killer? Just a thought.

Why? I'm wealthier than you.

But you can't read. If you could, you would see I was talking about a Victorian who disposed of kittens and not me

Literacy plus comprehension skills plus analytical powers and debating competence

You are all out of stock in all these vital areas

Now turn off the computer and get some further education in all of these matters - and then come back in 2013 and we can check your progress

No watching HLN either - lots of work to do. Even you must be bored tossing inanities around on VJ and never ever putting anything together yourself

There is a 14 year old kid across the road and he has had brain damage since birth. He stands at the side of the road hooting and singing Christmas carols in July. He is interested in technical things and does a lot better than you at finding meaning in life.

There is your role model and your standard to achieve

But I don't post the utter nonsense that you do. I'm quite comfortable with my life. I don't need to get approval here.

If you find other people's posts nonsense or uninteresting then you could ignore them.

You don't have to wander aimlessly around the forums pecking and poking at people and never engaging in the subject itself

You just don't seem to have anything to say on anything, other than having a dig at whoever posted last

This is a daft thread but I can offer some daft contributions in the spirit of a relaxed bit of joviality..that is until you come along and take a slap.

At that time, it spoils everyone's fun

When kids build sand castles on the beach, there is no great meaning to it and they are just messing around - there is no need for that badly socialized kid to come along and start stamping on the sand castles

Leave them alone

I've never tried to live completely without money. However, once I did try a 3 year 'experiment' in minimalistic living.

Story is ... from the time I was a youth I was fascinated by 'big fancy houses'. So, growing up I obsessed over the goal of eventually building my own 'big fancy house'. This obsession drove my education and worklife. I was able to build that house when I was 37 and I moved in. After about 6 months, I was bored. There is nothing worse than achieving a life's goal at age 37!! I felt 'dead'...nothing left to do between 37 and death except go to work and come home from work and wait to die. So, I needed a new goal. After 6 months in the house I sold it and everything in it! What I didn't sell, I gave away. And, then I had absolutely no possession except for my 12 year old camaro (still driving that same car). I then moved into a one room apartment ($350/month)...and that was my residence for 3 years until my wife came to live with me.

I enjoyed immensely the 'simple living'. I never put furniture in the apartment. No TV, no couch, no bed...just kept it empty. The space will grow on you and I realized how simple life can really be...but I still needed at least some money.

Now my wife is here with me for 5 years...so we're back to living in Suburbia outside of DC and we're also very happy. She's always been minimalistic and has that mindset. Granted, we don't live like that any more, but we're not 'scared to lose anything' either.

Everyone should give this a shot in life sometime...living simply...it will eliminate a lot of the 'fear' that gets built into us as we grow up under society's eye.

Blessings to the thread,

It is not so much as just minimal living as just to rid getting rid of unneeded attachments. I also got rid of everything.( I sold mine though) I moved into a truck and just worked and traveled. Saved what money I made and now me and my babe live simply. The business I built for her is going great and now we are looking at a regular house to buy to move out of the back of the shop I built. We plan on a simple nice house and hopefully one I can fix up to our liking. We will need a big back yard so I can grow lots of flowers (she requires) and a large garden (we both require). The only thing is she wants the house near the church we attend. As we live we only buy what we require and not to keep up with others. My life is full and I thank God for this life he has rewarded me with. I have been blessed.

If you consider killing kittens and watching chickens fly around after you chopped off their heads fun so be it. Sorry I ruined your fun.

I don't let internet background noise spoil my fun.

I have never killed a kitten or seen one killed - it was my grandad who was a Victorian and died very many years before I was born

Similarly, slaughtering hens was something I assisted in when I was 7 years old - even though I have eaten chicken since then

All this was apparent from my post, so if you are going to take a slap at people, then for heavens sake get some reading comprehension skills first or you make yourself look like a nit-wit

I don't think you care a jot about the facts or the posts - I don't think you even read them properly - you just want to stagger around the forums like a drunken sailor taking a slap at people. You do it every day. Posting the bald statement that you have more money than me etc is just obvious bating

If you are a vegetarian and don't like the idea of slaughtering chickens, then say so, give reasons, and don't just take a personal pop at people who do eat chicken.
