What application do I need in order to apply for a tourist visa for an aunt? She is a businesswoman and she will only be here for maybe a couple weeks to one month for my graduation.

All tourists must apply on their own at the US Embassy/Consulate. There is nothing you can file on your aunt's behalf. She must file on her own. The tourist visa application (visitor visa application) is available on the US Embassy/Consulate's website.

You can ONLY apply for a visiting visa other-wise known as B2. That's about it. If she was an immediate relative to u a US citizen, then you can petition for her, other than that, she has to go the B2 route. Good luck with the embassy.

Should I submit a letter to the consulate or send her an invitation to my graduation as proof in order to help her chances of getting the tourist visa?

You could, but the application shouldn't really be showing why they have to go to the US, they should concentrate on why they must leave.

The invitation is good, but the weight should be on why she has to return to her home country

... Writing a letter is a good idea,would it boost her chance of getting the visa? I'm not really sure,as Visa issuace is at the consulate's discretion! Honestly visa is a 50-50 chance is there are not enough strong ties proofs! What would help her the most is if in addition to all your invitation paper-work,she shows proofs of strong ties to her home country,that could convince the consular that she intents to return back after your graduation...
