Yeah I have an NA lancer, its a bit plasticy inside. I'd like to get a ralliart in the future but they need to upgrade the interior.

I am also ignoring charles' comment.

Good to see another Lancer owner out there cant pass up a good buy unlike the followers out there who buy honda toyota and dont know other brands out there can save little money on.

Here's a video that anyone who EVER plans to buy a vehicle in the future needs to watch.

Drive Free-Retire Rich - Dave Ramsey

~~~~~
Aside from that, there seems to be a lot of attention here in this thread to the APPEARANCE of the vehicle. That is absolutely silly. A vehicle has the purpose to get you from point A to point B in a SAFE manner. Everything after that is just gravy (for the non-Americans, "gravy" means that it might be tasty and enjoyable, but it is extra and not at all necessary).
I work in an ER and after my first couple of years working in one and asking the patients in the trauma rooms what they had been driving, I bought a small pickup truck. That vehicle served us very well for 10 years and then my son took it and he drives it in college. (A Ford Ranger) It has had a couple of fender-benders as well as some bigger impacts--one twisted the front bumper in one direction and the next one twisted it back the opposite way. Each time, we simply pushed it up to a tree, hit reverse to unbend the bumper, went to the mechanic, and had it pronounced fine, if not a bit more distinguised looking. I drive an Escape now (smaller SUV) and am considering a '91 GMC pickup for my fiance to have when he gets here or possibly a Jeep Liberty. (Lots of patients come into the ER on their own to get checked out after accidents with those. Being able to take yourself to the ER is much better than requiring an abulance or worse, LifeFlight.)
Someone GAVE my son a small compact car 3 years ago. I absolutely refused to allow it. Here, drunks and criminals/illegals are driving all the time, many without any history of training other than experimentation behind the wheel. If your vehicle isn't designed to protect you in a T-bone or when a drunk decides that this is the day to play chicken, then you have made an unwise decision in your purchase. "Cute" versus "ugly" are really unimportant features to the trauma victim.
There is no guarentee of total safety, but there are certainly differences that make all the difference in the world when push comes to shove.
In 2012 Toyota sells cars with 5 gear manual and 4 gear automatic gearboxes. For the price, it's simply pathetic, and quite frankly, the quality of the plastics is very low.
Why do people ditch the Mitsubishi brand the car runs good as honda and toyota been around longer than both and certain models are popular. I like mine has good gas and kinda fast for a base model i had no problems just certain issues with my old model but nothing expensive.
