AFTER i submitted affidavit of support.(cuz my husband is unemployed now, and his salaries for the last three years is not reached the minimum income requirement, so he asked his uncle to join sponsor me. he and his uncle submitted i 864 and tax return transcripts) . nvc sent an email to me today..

it is shown

The NVC has received the information you have submitted in reference to

the Affidavit of Support. Please be advised that you, as the Petitioner, do

not appear to meet the minimum income requirement according to the

current poverty guidelines to sponsor the intending immigrant(s) for this

petition. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this

requirement at the time of your interview. In order to avoid delays, you

may wish to submit an additional Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) for a

Joint Sponsor to the National Visa Center to assist in sponsoring the

intending immigrants. To view the current poverty guidelines, visit

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-864P.pdf.

If you decide to use a Joint Sponsor to assist in sponsoring the intending

immigrants, please note that you the sponsor may not use Form I-864EZ

and will also need to submit Form I-864.

so wts the meaning of that?

does my husband need to look for another joint sponsor?

I have never seen a post like this so let me ask

Did your joint sponsor make 18,400 for 2 people (him and you) PLUS anyone else he claims on his taxes is about another 4000 each.

So, if the uncle has a wife and 2 kids PLUS you.....did he make at least 30,400?

Well, as you know your husband does not make enough so they were making sure you knew it... I think I would make sure I had copies of both 864 and taxes at the interview.

As long as you know yor joint sponsor makes enough just make sure you can prove it at the interview.

maybe u r correct.

i called nvc right now.. and the operator told me that the financial evidence is ok now. they have received my husbands and his uncle's documents.

so does she mean that my husband's uncle is qualified? and i dont need to resubmit the affidavit of support to nvc?

and she also told me that nvc is waiting for my civil documents and visa application..

so next step, i only need to sent civil documents to nvc. right?

I do not know about electronic filing

Your joint sponsor is good. do not worry

Someone needs to pay the 404 dollars and submit the IV paper and the civil documents now. And if you submitted them already then just wait till they look at them and you will get your CC=case completed at NVC

basically, I take it to mean -

no one at NVC has YET reviewed the uncle's I-864.

So - you know what yer gonna do, right?

Telephone call into NVC, ask what's going on with the joint sponser's I-864, on Wednesday.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
