Hi to all VJ members. I am worried now and need your smart opinion regarding this. We had our wedding yesterday. Everything went fine until we find out that my married surname on my marriage license lacked letter "C", it should be WIJANGCO but it was misspelled as WIJANGO. Now my worries are, is that could create problem on my AOS and other paper works and is marriage license differ from marriage contract? My only hope now is that it will be corrected on our marriage contract so to avoid any discrepancy in the near future. If not, can anyone provide me info on how to correct it? Your help will be highly appreciated.

Go to the court where you applied for your marriage license and let them know there is a mistake on it. They should be able to help you get it corrected and all sorted out.

Thanks. Our marriage contract will be out in about two weeks, do we need to wait for it or better go there now to be corrected?

I would go there now. The sooner they know about the mistake, the better. It could stop you from receiving a marriage certificate that is incorrect too.
