ARE YOU SERIOUS!? Over 1 YEAR?! this is outrageous. Someone needs to be calling senators and the president!

Sorry, I applied only in September of 2011, but she and I have been apart since October 2010.

How would someone find out if USCIS lost their petition? I mean, I'm sure we cannot just call them up and harass them about this, since we cannot prove or disprove any statements they make.

My Congressman is following up on my I-130. CSC responded to his inquiry that "they are unable to locate my file" and I needed to provide him with some information to help them try and locate it. What infuriates me is that they conveniently didn't lose my payment, only my application.

CSC or USCIS has still yet to inform me of my "lost" petition.

What was your last 'touch' date?

Trips:

Jan2010 - First Trip, met in person

Jul2010 - Trip two!

Nov2010 - Trip Three, Got engaged :)

Feb2011 - Trip Four. Spring Festival, Lucky Money all around :D

April2011 - Trip Five... Going to the chapel...

July2011 - Trip Six... Honeymoon in Xiamen :D

October2011 - Trip Seven... Beijing and the Great Wall :)

January2012 - Trip Eight... Chinese New Years and Spring Festival! More Lucky Money! :D

April2012 - Trip Nine... Interview?

Paper work for CR1:

28 July 2011 - 20January 2012 - Day 175... USCIS at CSC finally processed our paper work.

30January2012 - NVC 'received' the paperwork

6February2012 - NVC GUZ case number assigned - Attempted to OPTIN to EP.

7February2012 - NVC GZO (EP) case number assigned

8February2012 - 27February Massive delay caused by sending the EP OPTIN email too soon :(

28February2012 - AOS Fee Paid

29February2012 - AOS Fee shows paid, AOS Package sent in

5March2012 - IV Fee shows paid (paid on 3March), IV (DS-230) Package sent in

6March2012 - AOS Rejected due to minor error, corrected version emailed in

8March2012 - Email received indicating AOS correction and DS-230 review in process

9March2012 - Case Complete Email - END NVC PROCESS

15March2012 - Interview Scheduled: 18April2012 (Document turn-in: 17April2012)

What was your last 'touch' date?

I just arrived home from Belgium this past Saturday...it has only been a few days. But just makes it that much worse that the inefficiency of USCIS continues to keep us apart. I waited quietly and patiently for the "5 month processing time", now I expect them to uphold their end of the bargain (I know this is unrealistic).

Hello All,

I just called UCIS yesterday for the first time and was hoping to hear something different than JUNE 16th. But to

My disappointment, it was again said that they are working on June 16th cases and they may take up to two months to get to my case, which is July 18th.

My question is that did anyone recently get an NOA2 ? Because calling them n trying to find out progess is

pointless, so I thought maybe you all can help me make my own time line as to when they'll reach July 18 :(

Mine was June 14th. Took 178 days then it moved pretty fast to the consulate. hang in there.

I am also waiting n waiting...nd its taking ages! :( Its ridiculous :( Everyday is getting harder. I hope we all will get our NOA's soon!God bless!

Hang in there!!!! I just got ours last night at 9:40pm after 6.5 months wait (22nd June). Funny enough, I was talking to another VJ memeber 2 days ago, complaining about the wait... I messaged the another VJ member after recieving the text, and they got the NOA2 text a few minutes after!! It won't take forever!! Good luck!!

Hang in there!!!! I just got ours last night at 9:40pm after 6.5 months wait (22nd June). Funny enough, I was talking to another VJ memeber 2 days ago, complaining about the wait... I messaged the another VJ member after recieving the text, and they got the NOA2 text a few minutes after!! It won't take forever!! Good luck!!

We had one week together last August (I went to Moscow), but other than that It's only been phone calls, Skype, SMS messages, and e-mails.

NOA 1 date was 2011-09-27 - In my world, the 9th month is September. So, let's make that makes over 4 months.

The real hard part about the waiting is for those of us who have been waiting longer than that to be with our significant other. I've been waiting since October of 2010. We had one week together last August (I went to Moscow), but other than that It's only been phone calls, Skype, SMS messages, and e-mails.

Why though??? Did you have a problem with the case or something???
