You have to wait 121 days from approval of I-129F NOA1 for approval of NOA2,and all the waiting time for K-1 visa is at least 5 months,so just be patient, and it is been 3 months after my Fiance submit I-129F,so i am waiting and it is been hard time waiting 5 months, but i should have too.

Good Luck.

1. Why are you quoting my post? My post was the answer to the OP's question

2. You "timeframe" in inaccurate in most cases as it varies by Service Center, time of year, number of petitions revieved. etc. I gave the OP the link to where he can get the most up to date information.

3. Why do people keep answering this same question over and over? It was answered correctly the first several time, and the OP doesn't need the same answer (or incorrect answers) 12 more times.

I am pretty sure based off the little blue boxes on the person that "Quoted your post" that they are pretty new here to Visa Journey. I would be willing to bet that if was pure accident to quote "Your" post. The person quoting "your" post did say that the wait is 5 months and that is a USCIS estimated timeline for the I-129F.I am pretty sure that the OP would appreciate everybodies experience as to how long they have been waiting to be approved. And to answer your question about Why people keep answering the same question over and over. This is visajourney. I agree with everyone else. Relax and encourage one another. Yes and make sure you send phone bills each mouth to your fiance, have them print off emails, yahoo messenger chats, facebook chats each week to take to the interview. That way when it comes time for the interview you are not scrambling to get all of the info.

My fiancee and I waited 10 months before we had heard anything from USCIS. Now we are getting ready for her interview tomorrow.

God bless you guys and allow this time to strengthen you.

Chris and Hanna

I filed the i29f fiance visa and sent it in on october 7 and recieved a letter and an email back that it was recieved and it is in initial review. It is now january 10 a little more than 3 months since then and I havent recieved anything else and It is still at initial rievew on the uscis website. Im starting to get a little worried. Is there something I should have done that I havent or was there something I was suppose to recieve in this period of time. I really dont want to mess this up my fiance is really all I have in this world and we truely need eachother and need to be with eachother. I need a little help or guidence. What should I do. Should I call them? If so which office would I call or service center. Im completely lost here. Please help me. Thank you for your time.

Once you are "one month past processing time" THEN you can actually do something. The service centers won't lift a finger until then. If it lists processing time for K-1 as 5 months, you'll have to wait till its been 6 months, then you contact congressmen and try to get the ball rolling.

The wait sucks and I cried every time I talked to the USCIS people. When I first started, I was thinking the process would take 5 months OVERALL and was stressing out at 3 months too. Then I found this site and realized how long the wait would actually be. Just be patient and use your time to research your next steps instead of stressing.

You can do it!

I understand you being impatient and wondering! I am the same way myself most due to my fiance'. I suggest you enter to petition timeline information to your profile. Then you can compare with others petitions filed aroound the sametime. I recieved my NOA1 on 9/27/11. The timeline suggested my petition should be adjuncted between 1/24 to 2/4/12. I am current following several profiles with similar timeframes and current there a some filed within 5 days of mine that have been approved! If you goto the immgrigation timelines and click on Igor's timeline list, you can get to a database search of the type visa and service center and see all the approved and not approved. I am 181 on the list of Vermont petitioners. Well good luck and be patient!

You should wait. You aren't even at their stated 5 months to process timeframe. Have patience.
