I'm just grateful they dropped the idea to charge £1 for each use of the bathroom :P Most UK based airlines seem to allow any government issued photo ID so its a good thing I renewed my provisional licence hehe

We sent our application on July 2nd, NOA1 July 11th, RFE Nov 15th, RFE reply early January and NOA2 January 9th. If we could get Packet 3 soon I'd be thrilled :D

i imagine there would be some wet seats if they did start to charge for using the bathroom because some people pay £6 for their flight and there is no way they will hand over any more money lol.

we got approved on the 5th of january and we are still at NVC as far as i know :(

We have our NOA2 email but no hard copy. Jess has flights booked to come here in March and while I want to be with her sooner I don't really want to get sent for the medical and all when she's here :P

Hi Liam, congrats on the NOA2 and as a fellow Northern Irishman I wish you both all the best of luck in the next steps..! I wouldn't fly Ryanair (at least for the return leg) as you will definitely need your passport. Check airline websites but I'm pretty sure Easyjet allow driving licence to travel.

For a bit of fun, check out the Youtube video: "flights for 50p" for a bit of craic on Ryanair...

Thank you Gloves :) Yeah I was reading up on some airlines and Ryanair and Aer Lingus are out but there are plenty of others like EasyJet and BMI that just take photo ID. I've been doing a lot of research on airlines because I don't plan on using moving companies, just two large suitcases :P

Good luck with your journey Gloves :)

Never worry, I would have felt the same way too  After it was at USCIS for what felt like so long with no updates things are moving much faster. It feels more real but in a good way :D I haven't stopped smiling :D

Good morning/afternoon/evening VJ'ers

I was awoke at 3am this morning by the sound of Jess screaming after checking the USCIS site to find that we got approved at NOA2 stage yesterday  We had just got the card back from the US Postal Service yesterday to say that our RFE had been received so we were pleasantly surprised to see our status updated so quickly :D Needless to say I barely slept after that and work was a blur so we are in need of some sage advice from the community as to what we need to do now and what steps to take to speed this process along.

Any and all suggestions are welcome :)

Congrats!! I am giving hope!!!
