Do not call them everyday

call them weekly on tuesday afternoons.

And ask am I in CR yet? Are we in AR? Are we in AP still? Are the background check done yet?

Write that down and ask just like that and you will get the answers you want.

wait a sec.. they moved us from one to another one.. i mean AP then CR then AR.. what the hell how long its will take? by the way why tuesday afternoon? okay i will asked them like that next time..

I know years ago the DOS would update only on Tuesdays

It can take years but just pray it is the average of 3 months.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

oh god i hope nothing gonna be like that..ok thanx for ur help i will call them on tuesday.. btw does they take over 3 months or something? i mean from 3 months to what??? u know something i forgot to tell u that.. after my husband my sistrr in law she had her interview at once and guess what they give her the visa right a way.. after her interview 3 days later she give her visa. and we was so scared of her cause she didnt have enough stuff i mean not enough of their picture..and after marrige my bro was with her for a week..and guess what they didnt asked her anything.. the ame lady took my husband interview.. we was so surprised.. anyway that was a luck isnt? anyway what abt u? i mean u got ur visa and everything? hope u dont mind me asking

99.9% of women get approved within 2 weeks and get their visa.

Muslim Middle east men are usually put through AP

especially if their name is Abdul, Ali, Ahmed or Mohamed to name just a few. But not all people with these names go through long AP just some of them.

Abduls will all have a long AP or denial. i have not seen one approved.

half ahmeds and mohameds stay in AP for a few months

Do not worry he will get it soon.

My Muslim husband has not had his interview yet. In 10 days.

yes i have seen today almost all the abdul i seen none of them didnt get their visa. when i saw it i was so scared abt it. anyway my husband name start with mohammad.. well tell me one thing what excetly they check.. i mean they check if he have any criminal record? or they check mine i dont even have that clue.. and wish u all the best for you husband..i hope everything will go smoothly..i wish yea all the best..

as much as i know they dont have no bad record. i know i have bothered u so much one more simple question is.. how they going to check that? i dont understand that..and after AP..done they gong to put me something else or not?

After AP it can go to CR

and that only takes a few days till a few weeks.

the counselor has to be the last person to touch it
