can i make expedite visa processing us consulet for wife IR1 visa case is ap

my father had surgeryfor chronic subdural hematama he also is anable to stand stabley without support he has short term memory lose

i want to bring my father usa he is us citizen but i work all day

we do not have anyone to care 24\7 dayes look him my father is living with my wife india she is caring for

his every need and making sure my father does not forget to take his medicine

we can make expedite to consulet for family emergency

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

A subdural hematoma can have minimal to severe residual effects. If this just happened it is too early to tell what his disabilities might be.

You can always try for an expedite. You will need letters from his doctors explaining his condition and needs and how the USA will better provide care for him than India can.

A subdural hematoma should not be a chronic condition. That would mean that it happens again and again. If he falls alot he can get another one. But some require surgery and others don't.

You can let the embassy know of the medical emergency, but AP cannot usually be expedited (depends on why she is in AP of course).

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
