Hi wally, tahoma and inyong and bigdog:( i had my psychological test at st.luke's today and unluckily, the one who evaluate me was a very strict man.he kept saying about my two annulled and he raised his voice i had no idea why he was so mad at me.i was just explaining what happened.i wanted to cry.then he referred me to another evaluation what they call PEPS, i called PEPS for appointment and i felt better when i talked to the very nice lady who is going to evaluate me next week.she said not to worry too much.she's very nice, opposite to what i have experienced to the other psychologist,he was so intimidating that got me more nervous facing him.i only hope and pray next week be successful.my immunization is pending because of my psychological evaluation.the result after the evaluation is 2 weeks, they going to forward the result in st.luke.i have no choice now but to re schedule my interview:(

Try not to cry during the interview. It wont help to lose your composure and when asked a question answer it clearly and to the point without saying more than you need too. Sometimes, we all have a problem of "saying too much" or saying more than needs to be known...Good Luck!

Hi Caduceus37

Sorry to hear that you got grouchy doctor!! :( Like we all said they will talk down on you and make it seem as if they don't believe your story. I was praying and hoping you got somebody understanding. This is the doctors job to scrutinize and evaluate.

I think personally if any person that has annulments (plural), scars etc... They will either order a pysh exam. Also in the the Philippines culture (Catholic) they are super strict on annulment of marriage. They don't believe in divorce etc... So being you have two that gave them all ammunition to orders the full psyh exams. As for the grumpy grouchy doctor raising his voice at you. Sorry you had to go through that. I wish sometimes people could pull the skeleton out these guys closets :devil: and see what they are hiding in their lives :angry:. Anyway straying from the subject....

Best thing now is to accept and do the next exam (PEPS) next week. They will have you do a series of test. You will be ok from this. Like Tahoma said " she has not seen any story were anybody has fail the medical and been denied. Unless your a certified Wacko and I know your not that at all.

For now just relax and focus on what you need to do and continue to pray to God. You will pass this process for the medical. :D :D

Keep us all posted so we know where you are at in the process..

:star: Congratulations for jumping through the first hoop! :star:

Now that you have completed the psych evaluation, you can prepare to jump through the next hoop...the psych test. The psych test will cost P3000 and it will take up most of a day. Then, a couple of weeks later, you can complete the immunizations and be done with St. Lukes.

After that, you can go to your rescheduled Embassy interview, and you don't have to worry because the consular officers are all 'Kano and they understand that the Philippines does not allow divorce, and they understand that getting an annulment is just like getting a divorce in the U.S. They really don't have a problem with it. The doctors can try to scare you all they want but, like I said, I've never seen the Embassy deny a visa because of annulment.

I wish I could find the thread where the OP gave a detailed account of the psych test. From what I remember of the story, the psych test included a lot of written stuff like true/false questions and multiple choice questions. I don't remember if there was an evaluation with a psych doctor. If you have to undergo another evaluation, I hope the doctor isn't as grumpy and confrontational and intimidating as your St. Lukes psych evaluation doctor was.

But...hey...that's how they play the game. You just have to keep things in perspective...they are just doing their job. They are testing you to find out whether you are a danger to yourself or a danger to others. Just understand that...and keep your cool. B-)

When you complete your psych test, maybe you can post your story here. I would appreciate reading it, and I think others would appreciate it too. I think it would help people who have to undergo the psych test in the future.

Best regards to you and your hubby. Always keep you eyes on the prize! :D

Hi caduceus37

We are glad to see your update :D:) . Congratulations on completing PEPS exam. Now you will need to call on Wednesday to see if they have forwarded your results and passed.

I believe you will pass your medical. St. Luke's did there job by raising the red flag when the saw two annulments and the manner in which the annulments were filed. You have passed through the gauntlet of exams and proven your of sound mind and happy in your relationship. As proof of relationship, 9 years is a long enough time for proof of relationship :D . Time to get married after that  . No doubt you two love each other (L) (L) (L).

It's ok you were emotional in your feelings to the examiner. As long as you explained everything.

The examiner will not give you your results after the examination. They need to process and review. Then forward to St. luke's if all is passed.

Once you go to St. Luke's, I believe last thing you will need is vaccinations shots if needed.

God is good. We are praying with you. So you join the rest of the VJ'ers on the Journey to there loved ones.

In the meantime start double and triple checking your I-129f package and make sure all documents, forms and ID's are together in order.

God Bless you :innocent: !!! Your strong and won't give up!!

St. Luke's will reschedule your appointment with USEM. I am not sure how they re-schedule USEM appointments...??? I believe USEM is aware of the expire date. Hopefully they will fit you in before it expire. They can extend your NOA2 expire date but I am not 100% sure on that. Maybe Tahoma or another high level VJ'er can shed more knowledge on the expire date of NOA2...??

God puts us through trials and tribulations  . He will not give us more than we can take. Remember prayer, focus, determination and will power will keep you strong. Your fiancee is your rock, your goal, your love. True love and prayer will drive you to the mountain top. Just when you think your done  , :innocent: God reaches down and gives you more to keep going :).

When you are finally complete with the process there and on the flight. Reflect back on the journey you went through and thank GOD for making you strong and giving your strength when it seem dark. Hug you husband to be and hold and tell him your my love. This process can only make you two even stronger. You have a story tell :secret: of how you over came this process and was triumphant!!! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

Either or, you can fill out online then print or print and fill out will a pen. Fill it out online save paper and if you make a mistake. You can correct before printing.

On section 4. Martial Status. You would place your last spouse annulment and answer the remaining questions. Me being the make sure absolutely positive guy. I would call USEM and ask if you need to put both annulments on section 4. Again if any other VJ'ers can shine some light on this question. That would be awesome.

USEM is not concerned with properties in there. They will be concerned with the Affidavit of Support. They want to make sure he earns enough in USA to support you and himself. The property is your under Philippines Law. No foreigner can own land in the Philippines. He can own the house but not the land. No sure if that can be added as an asset on the form. If he earn above the USA poverty line. Then no need to include the property in the philippines.

Proof of relationship consist of:

Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, etc from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 date-now).

Examples: Copies of phone bills, cell phone bills, emails (you can edit personal info with a marker), letters (edit personal info also), stamps on the letters (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

Keep us posted. God bless you and your fiancee!! :star: :star: :star:
