From all indications, Abidjan Embassy is a less busy one. It shouldnt take a maximum of 2months to get an interview through that Embassy. Follow the timeline of a member called "kissjo" she went through the embassy and to the best of my knowledge everything went really fast for her.Hope it helps..You may try to contact her.

Hi, I am from the embassy of Abidjan. My fiance (Then) now hubby, had his interview within 3 weeks. That being said, I pushed things a bit.. I wrote them emails, telling nthemnthe date of my wedding etc. I don't think it shoulw be more that 5 weeks. And you can always send them an email to tell them about your case. Most of the people who are going trough them have been telling me the same: ~ 4-5 weeks to get an appointment (ONCE you give them all the paperwork THEY NEED), so make sure everything is ready from your end, because that will be the rate limiing step once they receive your application. (I was not able to reply to your message directly.. ?? dot' know why).. Let me know if you need more help. I had a great experience with the Ivory Coast embassy.

Thanks for your information. I've been pretty on top of all the paperwork. Just waiting for the case to be completed. Any suggestions on the interview for my husband? What questions did they ask your fiancee? You're the only one I know who has any information on the Embassy in Abidjan. Thanks so much!
