DO NOT SEND THE ORIGINAL COPY. ALTHOUGH USCIS FORWARDS YOUR PAPERS TO NVC, NVC WILL STILL ASK YOU TO PROVIDE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS TO THEM. WHO'S TO SAY YOUR PAPERS MAY NOT GET LOST DURING THE TRANFER. THAT'S WHY THEY SAY SEND A COPY.

I just talk to a friend of mine working in one of the state office. I gave him the Marriage certificate register number and he will give me another one more legible this tuesday coming up. I feel better now. I will wait for next week to send the paper. This process is stressful, i want it to be definitely over and live with my wife and kids

1/4/2012 ------ RFE ( Request for Evidence ) email received

2/08/2012------- Case number received, IIN, both petitionner and benificiary email given

2/08/2012------- DS 3032 ( choice of agent ) emailed to NVC

2/10/2012------- AOS fee bill paid ( status: in progress)

2/13/2012--------DS 3032 accepted

2/14/2012-------- AOS fee bill shows " PAID" and IV fee bill invoiced

2/16/2012-------- IV fee bill shows " PAID"

2/17/2012-------- IV package sent via USPS

2/24/2012-------- IV package reviewed and accepted

3/27/2012-------- AOS checklist express mailed via USPS

3/28/2012-------- AOS Checklist received by NVC

OK! JUST MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU YOU RECEIVE IT, YOU COMPARE IT WITH THE FIRST TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO MISTAKES. WHEN I REQUESTED A DUPLICATE COPY OF MY HUSBAND BIRTH CERTICATE THERE WAS A ERROR OF THE SPELLING OF HIS FATHERS NAME. IT WAS A GOOD THING I COMPARD THE DOCUMENTS BEFORE I SENT THEM OFF TO NVC.

The first marriage certificate has an error on it. They wrote that my wife's mother and father are living in Haiti. I can not fix this error now. The duplicated one will still have the same mistakes. Do you think that could have an impact on our process? in the RFE we received, USCIS did not mention anything about it in the letter only to ask us to send a legible copy of the marriage certificate
