I-129F APPROVED. WHAT NEXT ?

I just checked from the USCIS website and our petition has been approved.

Am currently in the US, do I have to go back to Ghana now for the processing of the K1 visa or I can send the required documents to the Accra embassy and only go back to Ghana when my interview

date is up.

I also want to know if the Accra consulate is going to send the packet 3 & 4 to me by mail or I have to pick it up from the embassy .

You will need to go back and have your medical done collect your police reports and other documents and have your interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

i guess the bigger question- are you going to do the K-1 or AOS while your here currently?

They mail it- we never received it, once you know the case has gone from NVC to Accra you can email to request the pickup date for Packet 3 and 4 which contains the interview date.

Wait on Police report (they want it no more then a month old at the embassy in Accra) and medicals so when you AOS you dont have to re-do them since you interview is going to be a few months, at least, from now....
