Fiancee Visa Sponsorship Requirement?

I am currently awaiting NVC to forward my approved I129-F petition to the US Consulate of my Fiancee's home country. I am not sure what all documents I can probably start preparing for her Interview. But I am mainly concerned about the Sponsorship Requirement.

  • What kinds of document do I need to provide to prove I am capable of taking care of her?
    • I owe two vehicles as an asset but that's all the property I have. Probably the market value would not be more than $9000/-
    • I have a job and been working in the same company for over 3 years now and earn about $54K/year.
    • I don't really have a saving account and very minimum checking balance.

[*]With the above stated scenario, would you guys think I probably should look for a joint-sponsorship? Or would I be fine with the employment letter? Also would I need to provide a bank statement even though the balance is so low?

I'd really appreciate your feedback and expertise in this matter. I am dying to be with her and these kinds of scenarios makes me very nervous. Any help PLEASE !!

Based on your income ALONE - you do not need a sponsor and you do not need to list anything else.

You make way more than needed to sponsor her by yourself on just income alone.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Is there a good link listing all the documents required for the Interview? I googled it and found various results. Not sure what exactly would be good.

Appreciate your response for the earlier query though.

Thanks a bunch !!

Usually the US embassy webpage for the country you will be interviewing at.

or the embassy page on VJ - http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?letter=ALL
