It sounds like maybe there is an issue with the invoice payment? Otherwise I don't see why your attorney wouldn't provide you with the notice. If this is the case then yes I think the attorney could hold the interview notice.

Your attorney should not be getting your notices. They should be coming to your address.

Correction is the attorney is the agent he will be receiving everything

I did not realize that, as we used an attorney and received all our own paperwork. I would assume there is some way the OP can get everything changed to their address if necessary, though. After all, it is their paperwork.

They are double dipping charging me for AOS again tell me which attorney is going to use there own money to pay for AOS base on i360 and you don't know if it's going to get approve.

How are they double dipping? If you have proof that you have already paid the AOS fee then it's easily fixed. You can also ask for a statement of account. Also, several attorneys pay for things and then later charge the client, they can be called "disbursements" or "costs".

They are also NOT allowed to keep those documents from you. They are permitted to stop assisting you, but they aren't permitted to keep correspondence from you. I suggest you contact the Bar Association in your state and confirm that.

You could also contact USCIS and let them know you're changing your agent, or you could try making an INFOPASS to find out when your interview is.

Thanks guys believe it or not I ask for receipts and they refuse to give me a copy that's because I caught them cheating but thank goodness I have a bit of understanding when it comes to certain things you learn as you go along the road is almost over so I'm going to stick it through and then I contact the bar association . Only because I don't want to slow things down why I wouldn't do it now .

They cannot refuse to give you a statement of account or receipts, it's illegal. If you paid over the phone you will have evidence on your bank records, if you paid via check you can get a copy of the cancelled checks from your bank, if you paid in person with cash you should have got a receipt then and there.

USCIS receipts? I'm talking receipts of YOU having paid. The USCIS receipt prove SOMEONE paid. So you're saying that you paid for AOS once already, and they've re-filed for AOS? If they filed something in error they can't charge you for it. If you filed it and it was denied so they HAD to re-file then you owe it.
