do you remember what questions you were asked at the interview and did you study the whole 100 questions from the booklet?

They run through all the questions you answered on your application form to check that your answers are still the same.

On the civics questions, they ask a maximum of 10 questions randomly selected from the published 100. You need to get 6 correct to pass. If you get the first 6 right, they wont bother asking you the remaining 4.

They will also ask you to read a sentence written in English and write a sentence in English.

Yes you need to study all 100. No one can predict which 10 (or 6 of 10 if you get the 1st 6 correct) you'll be asked. I ran through the book and ticked off the ones which I knew off by heart (ie: Who is the president, who is the VP etc...) and then studied the remainder. My husband quizzed me on a few when we had down time and it worked out just fine. The last week before my interview I had him quiz me each evening just so I had the answers downpat and wouldn't falter due to nerves at the interview.

I think I found an iphone/android app for it as well.

If you attended any of our universities, cramming as it is called or studying for an exam the night before is how they do it. Forget everything the day after anyway. With wife and stepdaughter, crammed during the 4 1/2 hour ride over to their interview. That dang CD would put you to sleep with that monotone voice.

Ironically, most of their questions at St. Paul, two years apart dealt with knowing the names of our state senator, congressman, governor, who is the chief justice of the supreme court, the speaker of the house, and the worse one to remember, who is the vice-president, I can't even remember that one, which state bordered Canada, and where in the heck is the Pacific Ocean.

For both, English and civics test was less than two minutes, the real grilling took place in going over those ten pages, line by line, in that N-400 form. Now that, you really have to know.
