Trouble getting employment verification for embassy interview

Hi, I'm trying to prepare what is necessary for the I-134 and related documents, to be brought to the interview. I'm having trouble getting what I think would be the expected employment verification letter. Does it need to be a letter typed up by a human and signed in ink? My company refuses to do any such thing; they use a 3rd party verification web site called www.theworknumber.com (sounds ridiculous but yes it is legit), and all that will let me do is print out the info myself. There is no human signature on it. There is a message at the bottom saying this information was obtained only after the employee successfully entered his user ID and PIN. But, no signature. Will this be a problem? They are flat-out refusing to entertain any idea of signing a letter. Note that I also have the W-2 forms, ITR's, and the direct deposit paycheck information that I printed myself, and I can present bank statements that show the paychecks are being direct deposited. There is no local HR department that I can just go talk to, just guys on the phone far away, and they refuse, telling me "theworknumber" is enough.

Thanks.

As long as you have other information as well it should be fine. A lot of companies use 3rd party to do employment verifications. Submit paystubs and W2's bank statements as well.

I just noticed that a lot of other people have asked about "the work number" in the past; the craziness is spreading. Anyway, I managed to contact an HR person who told me what PDF form to fill out and mail in, to request it in writing. I hope this works... I'll find out in "5 to 7 days" if I am successful.
