Online fileing Vs Going to my local USCIS Application Support Center

I knew my 10 year Green Card was going to expire soon and for some reason i thought it was in Feb of 2012 and it turns out it was in May of 2011.. GULP!.. I am a stay at home mom married for 6 years to an Active duty military. I was going to apply for citizenship but now know I first have to renew Green Card because it cant be expired. Doing searches on the web i was confused at how many sites there are and the different rates they charge one wanted $146 and another wanted $99. My question is would it be a good idea to file on line or should I go to my local USCIS Application Support Center and do it there. Has any one filed online and is it safe to do so.

I am not quite sure what are you talking about filing online. There is no such for USCIS, neither you can file in the office.

and the cost is $450.

Everything else that you found is people who will help you to fill out the form and you can do it yourself no need to pay extra money for nothing.
