Letter of Intent to Marry

Hello everybody, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on this 'Letter of Intent to Marry'?

I downloaded the example letter, and it says to insert the 'USCIS service center address'. How do I know which service center will be processing my application? According to the I-129f instructions, everybody sends the form to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility. Do I just put down the USCIS Dallas Lockbox address?

I'm also wondering whether it's normal to just copy the letter exactly, with our names and details added in, or if I ought to be re-writing it and simply using that as a guide. It seems like the wording is pretty specific and I don't really want to change the wording and end up missing some important aspect of the statement.

Thanks in advance,

(F)

Just address it to USCIS without putting the Center address on it , since you don't know which center it would be forwarded to, I think if your fiance live in the eastern part of the US the probability that Vermont Center will process it is very high and for South and Western Part the country is process by California Service Center.

Below is the format I used:

Fiancé (e) Letter of Intent

(YOUR FULL NAME AND ADDRESS)

(FULL DATE)

United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

Dear Sir or Madam:

I, (YOUR FULL NAME), do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry (US FIANCEE'S FULL NAME), a U.S. citizen and intend to do so within 90 days of my arrival into the US using the K-1 visa.

Yours truly,

They haven't updated the sample but the address of the service center is not important.

The only thing that needs to be hand written is the signature. ANY or ALL of the remainder can be handwritten or printed. As long as it is legible.

Signatures do not have to be legible, everything else must be. :P
