I GOT MY INTERVIEW OF K-1 VISA AT US EMBASSY ISLAMABD THEY APPROVE AND KEPT MY PASSPORT AFTER FEW DAYS I GOT A EMAIL THAT U WILL GET SOON UR VISA PACKETS AND PASSPORTS SOON AND NOW AGAIN I GOT A EMAIL THAT SOON APPLICANT WILL RECIEVE CALL OR CALL LETTER FROM OUR OFFICE THIS EMAILS COME FROM US EMBASSY ISLAMBAD NOW I AM CONFUSE WHAT DOES ITS MEAN WHY THEY SEND ME CALL LETTER AGAIN..

in y exprince im telling u this. i have same case as ur. first they called my hubby and said he could pick up his visa next week. then they called him again and told him ur visa is not ready we will give u another call after 2 or 3 weeks later. after that its been 2 and half months i still didnt hear anything from them. now i heard they put him on AP. they need to check his name. cause he have muslim common name thats why.. maybe u have same reason. well wait and see what they say. and let me know if u got any new update plz

my understanding is when they are ready to print the visa they do one last check and if something else comes up they hold the visa until the check clears.... i may be wrong but ive read this so many times on VJ from other members that dealt with this and it seems very possible given our beneficiary coming from Pakistan ... so they will call you when the visa is ready im sure it wont be long.
