I need your guys opinion..

So, my fiance was approved on December 27th. We've been waiting for the visa to be delivered to his house at Marikina City and yesterday (Saturday, January 7) he wasn't home and it just so happens the visa came that day, his cousin was home but they needed my fiance to authorize and show ID. They told the cousin that they will deliver again tomorrow (Monday, January 9). My fiance will be home all day to make sure he doesn't miss the delivery.

Well, my question is.. do you guys think it's safe for me to buy a plane ticket now? I know he still has to go get the CFO sticker and what not. I was going to have him fly over to Seattle, WA (POE) on January 22 or 24. I think I'm just a little paranoid and thinking about the "what ifs". Like what if they don't deliver the visa on Monday or some kind of mistake happens and he's not able to fly out..

I just need someone to let me know that its okay to purchase the ticket or to actually wait till visa is in his hands.

Hi! I even had just been approved last Jan. 6 and my fiance already booked a flight for me last month and my departure date is on the 21st.So hopefully there's going to be no problem.I already did the seminar thingy and all I have left to do is to go back to CFO, present my CFO seminar cert and get it stamped when my visa arrives. Hopefully this week(crossing my fingers*) I'll receive the visa.

You will be fine. My fiancee missed her delivery on a friday but they came back on saturday to deliver the visa. Since yours was on saturday, they most likely will deliver on monday. The CFO sticker can be knocked out the same day.

hi, my POE is also seattle, WA. I just got approved last friday (Jan 6). My friend said CFO can be done with day. i guess it's safe now to book a fligt..Congrats and best wishes!
