I didn't get a text but when I went to the web page this morning it said my application was in post-decision activity! I take that as good news!

Hey, look at that! Not sure why it goes to post-decision or what that means, but it's probably good and I see several others approved so I can't be far behind I think.

CSC figured out that the holidays were over I guess.

Me too… I wonder what's happening at CSC. Are they putting I-129F on hold? Is there a protest?? No approval yesterday, all the NOA2 approvals on VJ are from Vermont.

Seriously CSC, there's many couples waiting to be together. :(

Because they also have to work on Spouse visas, Work visas, Student visas, Tourists visas etc. In general, it looked as though the IR-1s were being processed slower than the K-1s. I can only imagine how frustrating that is for a couple who's already married and possible have kids as well.

CSC is picking up compared to their activity in October/November. More and more will start to get approved.

Good luck to anyone still waiting.

Twice a month is considered "too much"? ... I wonder what they say to the people who call every other day. headbonk.gif

I guess this is not a good thing to read this if you have been waiting for exactly 5 months at CSC.

That is quite good. ... .a little levity for us CSC folks.. It will all work out

Why do you think it will expire? If USCIS got your answer to RFE, it doesn't matter how long they will process it - it's no expiration date for them.

They only update the date once a month. Your case could be adjucated at anytime. They told me the same thing and it was approved 3 days later. They give you the 47 days answer to buy them more time and to satisfy the caller into leaving them alone. Its impossible to contact the CSC directly to find out about your case. They have represenatives that are assigned to communicate with senators and congressman. Just wait it out and keep your fingers crossed.
