Hello Friends. My husband and I were married in 2008, he has his 10 year GC. I am a USC. When eligible, he will be applying for citizenship. Now, we are in the process of bringing his adult children to the US from Colombia. We understand the wait times, and the logistical difficulties. My husband would like to have a reputable lawyer working on the case. I know we can do it ourselves, but he feels more comfortable with a lawyer, and I respect his feelings. Does anyone have a lawyer to recommend? Please offer solid anecdotal evidence of a lawyer that is competent, and truly knowledgeable. The lawyer must be Spanish speaking. If there is experience with Colombia, even better, but not required. Also, we are based in SE Michigan, but we would be comfortable dealing with the right person even if he/she was not Michigan Based. Thank you for your suggestions.

I recommend Atty. Michael Gurfinkel. He's the best. Go to his website: http://www.gurfinkel.com

It would be done by a paralegal anyway.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
