Ritchie arrived at San Francisco International Airport(SFO) around 9:30 PM PDT SFO time on Wednesday January 4th 2012. I flew out to meet her there. I was waiting in the meeting place when she came out of the customs and immigration area. We then flew out of SFO back here next day Thursday January 5, 2012. We got in around 7:30 pm EDT. So her first night here in US is on SFO and most of her first day was there and in flight to Ohio. Her first night in Ohio was Thursday night and her first full day here was yesterday Friday January 6th 2012. And today we will venture out and get her some winter attire and some cooking ingrediants for her to cook some Filipino dishes she likes. We didn't go out yesterday at all so she can catch up on rest and relax and I worked from home yesterday so she would not be alone her first full day here, and also so I would not use another ETB(Earned Time Bank) day! She's a little disappoined because what little snow we got here last week is almost melted away now! She was looking forward to seeing snow. I told her to just hang in there as we are sure to get our share soon enough! And it will get much, much colder. Today's high will be 47 degrees! Way above average for this time of year here in Northeastern Ohio!

Congrats to both of you!!!! Sounds like alot of traveling even after she arrived in SF. She will be cursing the snow and cold in a few weeks lol....good luck

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Haha congrats congrats! It was great that you were able to meet her in SF and fly her home from there. I wasn't able to meet mine in LA but was able to pick her up at DFW. I think mine is loving the cooler weather here in dallas because she is not having to shower 2-3 times a day back in the phils. It is definitely not cold like ohio though!
