Hi VJ, i ve a question.

i am applying for AOS and concerning the affidavit of support, my fiancees now my husband's father was our joint sponsor. and know we dont know which forms to fill out whether the i 864 or 1864a.

please i need help on which form my husband, the petitioner has to fill and which one his father as our co sponsor has to fill out.

and also can i send only one certified copy of our marriage license for all the aos forms or i need to provide one for each form.

I-130 for mom

04/09/2016- filled i-130 for my mom. Mailed to Chicago.

04/11/16. - package delivered.

04/13/16. - NOA1

They will fill out the I-864 for the AOS. Do not send originals of the certified marriage certificate. Send just a photo copy with each form.

Both fill an I-864 UNLESS the co-sponsor resides in your household, then your husband fills out the 864 and FIL fills the 864a

If you two are living in the same house as your husband's father and you are wanting to combine the incomes of your husband and his father to reach the 125% poverty level, then your husband fills out the I-864 and his father the I-864A. Otherwise, they both fill out their own I-864.

You should only send a copy of your certified marriage certificate, and you only need to send one copy of it. Bring the original to your AOS interview, if you even have one.

If you two are living in the same house as your husband's father and you are wanting to combine the incomes of your husband and his father to reach the 125% poverty level, then your husband fills out the I-864 and his father the I-864A. Otherwise, they both fill out their own I-864.

You should only send a copy of your certified marriage certificate, and you only need to send one copy of it. Bring the original to your AOS interview, if you even have one.

they r both living in the same house but he is not dependent on his father. so what happens in this case

my father in law has all his w2 but my husband can find only 2 of his w2. so i was wondering if it is ok for us to send only the 2 copies of my husbands w2 or do we have to get all 3 w2s for the three years tax transcripts. tanx

If you get the actual tax transcripts from the IRS for free, then you do not need the copies of the W-2s.

You need to send the taxes from last year. You don't have to send for all 3 years but you need the exact amount made for the other 2.
