There are many of us who did this. Check out the VJ Guides, which give a good overview of the process: http://www.visajourney.com/content/naturalization_guide

Asked about this after our AOS was approved, was told about the I-751 and N-400, wrote those down, got home, found those two forms, read them, and quickly learned, we have a lot of record keeping to do. Plus gathering evidence.

That is the time to start, unless you have a darn good memory.

That's what I did too. And I found them so straight forward that I didn't have to ask anything.

Not married for 3 years.

Being a Green Card holder for 3 years and being married to the same US citizen for 3 years.

You can be married to a US citizen for 50 years before you decide to move to the US for retirement. If you then get your Green Card, you cannot file for naturalization right afterward even though you are a Green Card holder and have been married for 50 years.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

My wife received her 2 year green card after going through the K1 fiance Visa process back in 2008. She received her 10 year green card after lifting conditions in 2011.

An I correct to assume that because we have been married for 3+ years and have had at least conditional residency for over 3 years, that my wife is now eligible for citizenship?

Count 90 days from her 3rd yr anniversary as LPR backwards. Or better yet exactly a year after she sent her application to remove conditions for her 2 year conditional greencard.
