my husband filed an I-130 TO bring his mom to the U.S 08/30. We did receive a receipt from immigration mid september. in the end of september we left the country for 3 months. when we came we didn't find any mail. the post office thought that we no longer live in our home and sent all our mail back to their senders. the problem is that we don't know what happened in the case. when we checked the case online it said that it still in the initial review. the problem is that my husband checked the I-130 that he field for me 2 years ago and it says the same thing even that i had my green card a year and half ago.

Tell him to take the number from the Notice of Action that he received when he filed, and call the National Visa Center to see if it has arrived there. If they have no record of it, then it hasn't been approved yet.
