My NOA2 was approved on December 28th and there were holidays in between but the NVC got my documents about 10 days later.

I then called back in a few days and got my MNL#. Call them at 7:30 AM or later in the evening. Be prepared. They can be

a little unpleasant... :bonk: Have your EAC number ready. The NVC number is 603-334-0700. Once you get this, you can schedule your medical

and then you can get your interview. I hope you have everything else you need by now because like your NBI and Cenomar and you are organized

with all your documents. If you are on top of things like we are, you can probably interview within 30-45 days if you push it. Since we just

got our MNL# today and I am flying into Cebu in 5 days, I am obviously a busy man being reunited with a happy Filipina. Life is good. Your process

will move fast now. GOod luck !

Oh, the phone number isn't automated? So, it sounds like I call NVC twice, first for NVC case number, second for MNL #? Is that correct? Is that specifically what I ask for to limit the amount of unpleasantness I'll get from them? I know a little about how government types think and have observed that they can barely tolerate being asked for things they are employed to give out, let alone something that sounds different or doesn't make sense to them. "I have an approved I-129F petition and would like to know what my NVC case number is (and later, the MNL #)"? Will that trigger the right neurons to get an answer?

No, we don't have all the other documents yet. I did not want us to waste time getting documents that would be "old" by the time NOA2 arrived. So, now we run around and get the other documents. My fiancee knows how to get her stuff. And, I need current financial info so now I run around getting my stuff.

I don't think I'll be able to fly to Philippines though. I had to use up my remaining vacation (2 weeks) for last year in December, or lose it, and I can't take another 2 weeks off just yet.

Now I'm even more confused... is MNL # same as NVC case number? How do I get this, or both if they are different? Which one lets my fiancee sign up for an interview? What do I do other than prepare the I-134, related forms and the documents my fiancee will need to get? Something's missing here....

Congratulations! To get your MNL # you have to call NVC number is 603-334-0700.then if you secured your MNL number you can schedule for your interview.but first you have to pay the visa fee at Bank of Philippine Islands.visa fee is 350$.after she payed the visa fee call (214)571-1600 to schedule your interview.call at this times 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (EST).after you scheduled your interview your fiancee can go to st lukes extension clinic for her medical. she should go for medical a week or 2 weeks before her interview.all she needs is her mnl #, noa2,appointment letter or email confirmation (this will be sent to you after you schedule your interview),passport,3 colored pics (2 inchesx 2 inches)white background.

i will go for my medical this coming monday at st.luke's extension clinic.

goodluck and god bless.

I sent NVC an email, but do those all just get ignored and I should call instead?

Can she pay BPI before getting the MNL#?

I was planning that she'd go for her medical almost immediately after we have the MNL#, not just a week or two before. Is that fine? I figure the interview trip will be less stressful if the medical is taken care of before then.

Sorry, what is an appointment letter? Is that obtained when successfully getting an appointment?

You probably want to start posting most of your future questions in the Philippines forum since most of the info you need now will be specific to that country.

NVC will usually answer your email, just not always as promptly as we'd like. If I remember correctly, she'll need her MNL# for her to pay BPI.

Here's a link for St. Lukes that you can look over.
