I received an email informing me about USCIS accepting my I-130 petition. They informed me that my petition have been routed to California and I will receive the hard copy Form I-797 in about 7 - 10 days by standard mail. i receive mail on 30 jan 2012. pls what next?????

wait for the approval letter NOA 2 on your email or in the mail. but this will take months though. I've been waiting for it for more than 5 months now. :-)

Get to the waiting queue. The CSC have been really slow lately.

Basically now wait for NOA2 (The 2nd notice of action). Many people have been waiting over 4 months for this and some 6 months!

If you are extremely lucky, you'll get NOA2 in 2-3 months but thats not likely but who really knows. Maybe CSC will be at normal processing time now. CSC has been very VERY SLOW since June 2010 !
