I don't know where I got this idea from, if it's a traditional practice, the bombardment of 'do this if you're a bride or your wedding will suck'!, or if I just thought it was a sweet idea.

I'm thinking of getting my R. a wooden Welsh Love Spoon to give to him after our wedding. It's part of his Welsh heritage, I like the meaning behind the symbols and I also thought they were neat.

Just wondering if any other couples gave each other something special on their day.

Jerry gave me a silver locket, and I gave him a special devotional bible and journal (on our wedding night).

During the honeymoon we bought each other fun treats. :)

I've always thought a really neat gift (aside from something practical of course) would be to do a Boudoir portfolio. I found a really nice photographer online - wish I could remember the name :blink: Anyway I've heard of quite a few women who have done that for their husbands or husbands-to-be.

I'm not sure if thats quite the answer you were looking for :lol: It was probably way too much information as well, but hey....I think its a great idea! :thumbs:

Y'know, that's something that never occured to me....personally, I won't mind if we don't do pressies...we'll have so many things to pay for....the AOS, the EAD, the wedding, honeymoon (if we decide to do one), AP....sigh. Eh, we'll see...we might decide to after all :luv:

I got my pictures(professionally) taken once..... sexy ones :blush: and gave it to him as a anniversary gift :whistle:

He loved them! :yes:

He's very romantic and always does special stuff for me so I bet he'll do something then too..... but I still don't know....

I do know we're gonna give each other a swimming pool as a wedding present though :dance::dance:

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!
