I will never buy a car who need a hand out form the government and cant keep up with the Japanese auto makers of the best cars in the world.

Alla bought a Toyota Yaris. It looks like an egg on a roller skate, handles like a go-kart but she loves it

The wife wanted a yaris also. It is a good car for what we bought it for,a car to get around town with. 30 mpg in town. I have no problem with the expressway it has enough zip. I would hate to do a 12 hour drive with it and never have. If Obama cared about the environment over the union vote in dealing with the cash for clunker deal you would have seen more of these cars on the road. While a ton 4wd has its place I see too many that are uaed in their commute. It is a free country and they can do what they want.My wife in china would ride her bike an hour one way to work so she could save 25 cents on fare if the weather was good. She makes me frugel.The only problem I have had with the yaris is an ABS light going off .With a good set of Nokian winter tires. I have driven in 8 inches of snow. If maintained 200,000 miles could be the life of these cars. Gary here is a good yaris forum.

Chevy can go straight to hell.

Bought my last Chevy in '94 and it was the worst piece of #######. They will never see me in any of their dealerships no matter how much they have improved.

I've got a Toyota Camry Hybrid that is great. Built in Georgetown KY. A large comfortable quiet car that get around 35 mpg around town, and better on the highway.

Also have a few other odd balls in the stable, but they are just play toys.
