RFE received / i am lost now!

It is hard to say how much longer after you reply to RFE. If your expedite is approved hopefully it will not be long after that. Also one more thing USCIS Expedite doesn't give you NVC expedite. So you will have to request it again at NVC stage.

I know that i will have to request it at NVC stage. I do not think they will deny our request because the officer told my wife that he wants to approve it and needed a formal letter from the dcctor. I think once we submit the evidence, we will have our expedite request approved

I got an RFE and freaked out but was in the UK at the time. I had a neighbor check my mail to see what I needed since I was in the UK if I needed docs from there. Turns out my passport photo was too dark and that was it. Don't freak out too badly, there is an RFE thread here where folks list the issues that they had and got an RFE for so that the rest can watch and learn. Once I sent in my new picture things progressed smoothly.

Hum i see, i wish it could be something nothing difficult to provide. I am a bit worried as well because in 2009 i was fiance with a US citizen. i asked her to cancel the process because she was cheating on me. SHe withdraw the petition. Now i do not know if this will have incideence on my current case

this RFE thing is giving me a headache now. when you submit the additional evidence they need, how long will it take them to give a response? I don t want my wife to give birth to the Baby behind me. it's gonna be the first time i am gonna have a child

i got a response in 5 days .. don't worry just send them what they need from you

It's probably just something minor. Don't sweat the small stuff. You guys may have forgot to date something. They send RFE for such tedious things. Everything will be fine.

rujby, you do yourselves no good worrying! be brave and have faith that it will work out just fine.

in a way, an RFE can be viewed as not so bad because it means they are LOOKING at your case. yay! once they get the info, they can make a decision and that moves you forward!

RFE seem to most commonly be simple things. a forgotten signature, an address discrepancy, a copy of a tax return. if you can return the RFE quickly, this will not really slow you down.

People here told me to expect it in 10 days. my NOA1 hard copy was received 10 days after, Saturday January 14th will make it 10 days, i hope i will receive it. I can not wait to see what is the evidence or additional information they need from us.
