My I130 just got approved on Mar 12th, my PD is 06/21/2012.

Weird that we got the approval notice saying "The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States of America and will apply for adjustment of status . The information submitted with the petition shows that the person for whom you are petitioning is not eligible to file an adjustment of status." And our case has been sent to NVC for further handling.

Guess maybe something's wrong with our form. My husband currently holds H1B visa, could anyone advise how to change consular processing to AOS? Thanks!

HI all,

I have been following this forum for a few months but have just signed up and this is my first post.

I filled I-130 for my wife with PD 21st June 2011. On Feb 23rd, I received my NOA 2 stating that my application has been approved. However as mentioned in the letter, I did not receive any letter from NVC in the next 30 days ( I read on this forum that a lot of people with PD after mine have received their NVC case number ).

Should I be concerned ? On the 31st day, I emailed NVC and am yet to receive a reply to my email.

Can someone tell me, what should I do next. Also I am not very clear as to what the process is here on. Can someone please fill me in.

Thanks

Priyank

You should wait for response to your email, or give NVC a call. Sometimes, it takes a while for them to enter everything into their computer system, after that NVC assigns a case number.

!!1 FINALLY APPROVE AFTER 1 YEARS 5 MONTHS...

The long journey of waiting finally came to an end on the April 17, 2012.

I called USCIS on the 23 of March and did a services request for the second time. I also got a letter saying that we understand the fact that this petition has been out of the normal processing time and expect to hear from us the final decision about this petition within 60 days.

But I came back on vacation from seeing my wife and on the 18, April and my wife told me she just check on the website and seem she has been approve. After checking on the website I noticed my petition was approve on the April, 17, 2012 the same day I was coming back from seeing my wife. GOD IS GREAT ALL THE TIME.

I also have a strong feeling that she will get this visa by the end of this year or early next year btw March-June

Post Decision Activity

On April 17, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

My mom who is a green card holder filed an I 130 for me before I turned 21, and was approved last JUNE 20, 2013.(my age on the approval date was 22 years and 7 months). When my mom filed the petition I was under F2A (Thats what I knw) and when the petition was Approved Im already 22 years old and 7 months. Will my category from F2A be automatically moved to F2B? OR Can CSPA or CHILD STATUS PROTECTION ACT PROTECT MY CASE? and I also used the CSPA CALCULATOR and the result was Im still protected and eligible by CSPA and I want to verify this, if it is true,..and Im hoping for it..

Please Guys I really need your help. I also check the VISA BULLETIN and my PD will be current next month JULY 2013. so what should I do now?
