Some say for 130, they are still on June 16,2011.

I see you are in the same boat as me. i-130 and i-129f. Why do you have k3 listed? From what I have found out, they are getting short on k3s and going more with the CR1s. In our case....We were married in JUL11 when my wife was here on a student visa and we weren't planning on an AOS because the plan was for her to be here for school, return to Colombia where she was to return to an awaiting class (she is a school teacher) and as soon as she left and we could prove she was legally here and legally out of the US, we would submit her i-130 for her to return. This would give her ample time to notify her school of her plans and not leave a bunch of kids without a teacher, get her personal things in order, spend time with family, and so forth. So a few days after I submitted the i-130, I called the USCIS propaganda line and the person said that if we wanted to have her back soon (we were thinking within 6 months max because I was planning a trip to go out there to meet the family and we wanted to do our "official honey moon on a particular island in Colombia)...they recommended filing an i-129f under the k3 visa program. What I was recently told by a retired USCIS agent was that there is a tendency for 1 to catch up with the other. In other words....if you have an i-130, then a few weeks later submit a i-129f, the i-130 may actually be done and sitting and waiting for the i-129f to catch up or vice versa before they send to NVC where the NVC will according to a recent phone call (2 weeks ago), they will cancel the lesser of the 2 which is the k3. The NVC also told me that I could rescind the i-129f from the CSC where it is being processed but knowing the government system, this MIGHT only delay it further so I have left it in place seeing how long we have been waiting already. Your cases and ours are about the same timeline and same visas. Below is a thread to my most recent phone call to the 1-800-USCIS-Propaganda line

CSC is usually the slowest one out of all the centers. To make matters worse, they will not tell you anything concrete until the 6 months mark is over..Hopefully yours will be one of the lucky few exceptions

It's a turkey shoot. CSC has historically been a lot faster than VSC a number of times.. but since July they have slowed down drastically. It goes up and down, I suspect November - December filers on will not even see the 5 month mark.
