when does the uscis cash the checks???? my packet was delivered on 30th friday.... and i havent heard anything from them yet...

filed i130 and i485 on 12 27th 2011

no e-notification recieved eventhough i filed g1145

check cashed 1 4 2012

reciept hard copy recieved 1 6 2012

touched 1 6 2012

biometrics app letter recieved 1 12 2012 for 1 27 2012

successfully done walk-in biometrics 1 17 2012

text recieved case status updated 2 2 2012 for interview on 3 5 2012

Yes they cash them before the NOA - this is why many people watch their bank accounts.

No they aren't. The check is cashed first. The NOA people get from text and email is the notice before it gets to the mail box. That is why they offer the optional form - so you get the information before the mail arrives.

i didnt recieve a text or email yet...eventhough they took out the money 2 days ago..but the checks just got cleared on my bank account last night... i so want the noa electronically..lol

Yes they cash checks before sending out NOA.. As the name implies Notice Of Action. That means your file was touched and worked on. I believe after they check paper-work for mistakes and all is ok, Money is the next step. You know USCIS don't play when it comes to money.
