I'm confused. I remember reading a couple of months ago that DCF was no longer an option after August but it appears to be alive and well. Can someone tell me what piece of fine print I'm missing?

DCF is alive and well, but restricted to countries that have a USCIS office. The list of these countries can be found here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=1ac900c262197210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=1ac900c262197210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD Germany has a USCIS office in Frankfurt, so if you fulfill the residency requirements (6 months for the USC), you can file for a spousal visa via DCF.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
