12/05/2011...........RFE received.

12/13/2011...........RFE response sent.

12/16/2011...........RFE RESPONSE received by Vermont S.C.

12/22/2011...........Teased by a text-message from uscis, saying they have received my response to the RFE.

12/30/2011...........LA VISA APROVADOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

01/12/2012...........Case Sent To Bogota Colombia, from the National Visa Center.

02/09/2012...........Schedule Interview.

03/23/2012...........Interview (to take place then)!

04/07/2012...........Arrived in USA.

07/01/2012...........MARRIED!

What next?

.......How the days DO slip away!

My case hasn't been touched either. NOA1 was on 9/27. Waiting...

9/19/11 - sent I-129F

9/21/11 - email NOA1

9/27/11 - hard copy NOA1

3/20/12 - congressional inquiry (6 months since NOA1)

4/4/12 - inquiry result: petition approved (still no NOA2 text/email/letter)

4/20/12 - packet 3 received from embassy

Where do you check to see whether your application has been touched or not? Please provide the link. My application status says "Initial Review" for the past 3.5 months.

You have to go to "https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp"

1. Create an account.

2. Add your case to that account.

3. Look where it says "Last update"

Example: If it says "Last update 11/18/2011" and you go a month later to check if it was updated, the last update Date would change, and therefore, you have been "touched". But it only changes IF they updated your paperwork. If not, then the "Last Update" stays the same until you recieve your NOA2!

• Nov 18, 2011 - NOA1 (Notice by text message and Email)

• Mar 02, 2012 - NOA2 (Notice by text message and Email) [Took 105 days]

• Mar 07, 2012 - NOA2 Hard copy arrived by mail.

• Mar 19, 2012 - NVC recieved my case.

• Mar 20, 2012 - NVC fowarded my case to US embassy in DR.

• April 05, 2012 - DOS gave us our interview date. (May 14th)

I just read in another thread that someone spoke to a tier 2 at NCSC and was told that VSC was processing petitions from July 10. Chins up!

haha yeah they are such jerks for pushing in line :lol:

when people used to post about others getting approved before them, i would always reply saying "it is just the way it is and they should be patient"... but now it is happening to me and people are getting approved that filed a month later... and my patience is running thin that is for sure.
