Dear VJ’s im new in that forum but been looking and read many post that help me a lot to start filling my application. My query is that I’m adjusting my status along with my 5years old son .I fill the form I-485 for him, in Part 5 required applicants to sign which one should I pick up. In mine I-485 Part 3B asking to list spouse and children here I listed my son and check that applying with me is that correct. Should my wife fill an I-864 for him and me as well, for your info my wife has 2 kids plus mine when it comes to question part 2-3 and 5 into the I-864 would u please help. Regarding the I-130 for my son Question A my son is her step son there is no place for step son to be check can I check the one mention child. Please guys assist me.that was the only issue with all the application. By the way guys will he be going to the Interview I mean my son?

Feb, 06 2012 (Day 11) Biometrics letter received in the mail, appointment on Feb, 17 2012

Feb, 10 2012 (Day 15) Walking in Biometrics taken

Feb, 29 2012 (Day 34) received letter for interview Schedule on April 3rd 2012

March, 27 2012 (Day 61) Case Update I-131 Approve And I-765 Approve

March, 28 2012 (Day 62) Both Card In production (I-131 , I-765)

April,2nd 2012 (Day 67) email and case Update card in Production,Mail,Pick Up by USPS

April,3rd 2012 (Day 68) Interview At Boston USCIS 1:30 PM APPROVE

April,3rd 2012 (Day 68) 2 Email – I-130 and I-485 Approve

Not sure on the 1-485

For the I-864, all kids are counted, ie yours and hers. So if there are no other dependants, you have a household of 5.

In terms of interview, they will probably want him to show up, have finger prints taken, and they may ask him a few easy questions to make sure he knows you are married to this new woman etc, but he isn't going to get grilled.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
