Happy New Year!!! Next week will be 4yrs that Adam has been in the USA. He still hasnt filed for his citizenship yet but he sure does talk about it more often now, just gotta fork over that $680 for it. I sooooo want his mom to come over here and visit so Im working on getting her to start the process. She calls him every single week just to hear the same thing from him and I know she misses him to pieces! I already told his sister to tell their mom that in one day of flying she can come here and spend a couple of months with us and it would be worth that one day of flying! I hope this happens this year!

The end of the month is my 30th bday! Party time & dreading it all at the same time. I always gotta party on my birthday but not thrilled Im about to step into the 30s! Im planning a trip to see a girlfriend in Washington DC pretty soon, think I'll be going with out the hubby. Since he's been here we have only been away from each other for 2 days. I think he'll survive a few days without me!

Hope everyone has a great year ahead!

Happy Saturday! Its been unseasonabley warm here. The sun is shining and it looks warm but its maybe somewhere in the 30s. I don't care as long as the sun shines.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Hey guys hope you had a great Tuesday. Well as Farid was leaving to his citizenship interview he was called by the local USCIS office that his interview would be rescheduled due to the fact that it was today and he has not completed his 3 yr requirement till January 20th. So he will have to wait for another interview letter. Darnit.

Today is dh's birthday. Also known as "not a big a deal day" according to him. So in honor of not-a-big-deal-day I'm making him koshary and a german chocolate cake.
