My wife has been offered a job here in the USA with the supplier of the company she runs now in Greece. Thing is we just got case closed at NVC on Dec. 30 and have no interview date as of yet. They would like her to start Jan 16th. Would it raise a red flag if we emailed the embassy and asked for an earlier interview due to this new development with job offer? Or it would make it seem as though she wants to come sooner for job and not to be with me?

I wasn't sure where this question belonged, so I put it here, feel free to move if it's in the wrong spot

I have seen when case is at USCIS waiting for NOA2, people call to "Request an Expedite" and select "Financial Loss to Individual" as reason for expedite. But you have to provide full evidence to prove that this is the case.

Maybe similar can be done when your case is at Embassy also by calling Embassy or NVC?
